approved for KWPN, Holstein, Oldenburg International, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
The international show jumping stallion Carambole is a properly built, modern and yet robust Holsteiner stallion. This Cassini I son
always tries to do his work under the saddle as good as possible and also supplies very appealing foals.
His sire Cassini I is a household name, just as his grandfather Concerto II. Carambole has a very good brother in Sweden. His
grandmother is a full sister to the successful show jumper Shirley (Alois Pollmann Schweckhorst). Both mother Havana VI and grandmother Normandy XV were tested in Holstein with high marks.
Breedingwise it is very interesting that Carambole has a
half blood grandmother. In 2008 after a very good KWPN performance test in Ermelo he was champion of that year. He received an 8.5 for canter, 9 for reflexes, a 9.5 for technique, a 8.5 for scope, a 8.5 for rideability and 9 fortalent as ashowjumper.
Carambole also passedthe 70-day test in Germany with high
marks. He received three 10’s, for scope, technique and talent. For jumping acourse hescored an 8.5. He was sixth out of the 27 stallions in Schlieckau.
