Cassaro Z, bred out of a sister of Cassini I ! Cassaro Z was licensed for Holsteiner breeding in Neumünster as a 2.5-yr-old. He was described as a tall framed athlete with a lot of expression and nobility. Cassaro Z also has a fantastic pedigree with an accumulation of first class showjumping blood. Sire Coronado is a very capable son of top-class progenitor Corrado I who carries the blood of Aachen winner Heureka Z via her grandson Rebel I Z. Dam’s sire Lansing (Landgraf I) was winner of the German National Championship and was bred out of the same dam as the stallions Cantus (Caletto I) and Calvin Z (Caletto II). Grandam Wisma is the reputable dam of the world famous sire Cassini I (Capitol I). Under Franke Sloothaak Cassini I performed well in the international showjumping sport and later grew into one of the most influential showjumping horse producers in the world. We know Wisma also as dam of the famous stallions Cassini II (Capitol I) and Clarimo (Clearway) and as grandam of the stallion Lovari (Lasino). Cassaro was active in the showjumping sport until 2010. He performed very successfully in the Youngster Tour for 7- and 8-yr-olds, for example in Donaueschingen, Aachen and Kiel and was further internationally successful under Janne-Friederike Meyer.
