168 cm

Approved for Oldenburg

“Loved by the audience, chosen as a winner, decorated with the Champion Ribbon – – the Oldenburg Champion Stallion 2014.

With a standing ovation Morricone was cheered  in Vechta. All three days Morricone, a son of  Millenium/T, bred by Heinrich Vahle in Friesoythe, not only impressed the the audience but also the Licensing Committee.

“Our Champion Stallion has the most elegance, style and type. With his royal appearance and excellent movement and always in perfect form,  this noble black stallion wowed the crowd and the Commission”, comments the Oldenburg breeding director, Dr. Schulze Schleppinghoff.

Morricone Side

His Pedigree reads like a picture book: Father Millennium/T was second reserve champion of the Trakehner Hauptkörung 2010 and his father Easy Game, a half-brother to the dressage star Grey Flannel, directly connected to the noble and well known Trakehner stallion Gribaldi, in 2014, the ranking Sire of the WBFSH for dressage Breeding.

His noble dam Hartima has in her ancestry, Ruby Royal OLD, De Niro and Rubinstein, three major Grand Prix winners.

MorriconePedigree

The dam’s sire Rubin Royal OLD arises one of the most successful Oldenburg mare lines, the Line of Rudilore. Ruby Royal OLD who has already produced 26 approved sons, is the ”Oldenburger Hauptprämiensieger” and the full brother to the internationally successful stallion Romanov under Hans Peter Minderhoud.

His grandfather is none other than De Niro! the Donnerhall son who dominated the WBFSH Ranking as the best dressage Sire of the world for years.

The fourth generation of the Grand Prix winning Pedigree we find Rubinstein known as the founder of modern R-line. If we look further down the Pedigree we find sire Admiral I and the thoroughbred Guter Gast xx.

Morricone’s great-grandmother, the StPrSt. Hartine, was successful in dressage and show jumping class M and S.

This sets a great Foundation in Morricone’s breeding and sport career.
