After winning first and other placings in St. Georges and Inter I tests, e.g. in La Mandria/ITA, Munich, Donaueschingen and the CHIO Aachen as well as eighth place in the Burg Pokal Final, Rubin Cortes OLD is now being prepared for his first ventures in the Grand Prix ring by the triple Dressage World Champion, Edward Gal/NED. Rubin Cortes OLD is from the first crop of the successful Grand Prix dressage stallion Rubin Royal OLD who is also stationed in Lodbergen. The dam’s sire Calmiro is a full brother of the highly esteemed Continue.

Rubin Cortes OLD began his career in 2003 as the 1st Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta. He took his stallion performance test in 2004 in Adelheidsdorf, finishing third overall and was the Reserve Champion in the partial index for rideability. In 2006 Rubin Cortes OLD won the State Championships in Rastede and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. When he was seven, he easily made the transition to advanced level. Through his Luxemburg dam line, Rubin Cortes OLD offers a valuable outcross alternative. Rubin Cortes OLD has one licensed son named Ritorno. One of his daughters bred by Harli Seifert named QC Ruling Cortes placed in the Bundeschampionat.
